Ivonne Perusquía Díaz, Assoc. AIA

Associate Principal


Ivonne became a part of rodriguez studio in 2011. She directs project design and management, and participates in the management of the studio.

Ivonne is a firm believer in the value of sustainable architecture, she directs many of the firm's green initiatives and projects, and is currently spearheading the LEED Platinum certification of an office and showroom building in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Ivonne earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami in 2011, where she minored in photography and historical preservation. She was awarded the HABS Peterson Prize as well as recognition in the Habitat for Humanity Program.

Additionally, Ivonne has studied French and cuisine at La Sorbonne, London, Mexico, and the United States, as well as architectural film and contemporary architecture at the Architectectural Association in London. Her broad travels throughout South America, Egypt, Greece, Europe and Netherlands- as well as architectural sites and cultural events in the American continent impart her with an impeccable aesthetic sensibility and a profound comprehension of architectural evolution and sustainability. Originally from Mexico City, she is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French. Among her other interests are photography, jazz, film, carpentry, tennis, the exploration of NYC, the Northeast, and the world.
